Inspirada Icons

A family of icons for a homebuilding company in Las Vegas to be used across web, and advertising both print and digital.

48px Icons 🌐

Lucid Agency reached out for some icon work for Inspirada's website rebuild. Inspirada is a homebuilding company out in Las Vegas. We wanted to touch the site up with something more than just a bunch of pre-made icons from a pack.

The call for custom iconography came from a split of the need for custom elements (like dog parks, or square footage) as well as the need for a specific on-brand style.

While the main use of these icons is around 48px, we did want these to be useable in other canvases, such as billboards, trade shows, business cards, etc. The icons therefore are somewhat modular in that we have a detailed icon with the ability to hold strong stripped down to just a few shapes.

Process & Sketches

Once the family started building out, I realized there were some icons that needed to be less than the maximum height/width. Basically, for icons such as the baseball and basketball; knowing these two icons could potentially sit next to each other, we want the contrast in size to help indicate which is which. So, in some cases they're not fully pushing their boundaries on width, but they are all the same weight / density.
